Monthly Club Ride

In the late 1800’s a sea captain from Denmark named Peter “Wrong Way” Nelson sailed up the Caloosahatchee River, purchased a large tract of land and laid out a village. He named his new settlement Alva, after the beautiful flower which grew along the banks of the river.

Today, Alva is best known for the Alva Country Diner where you can feast on all manner of “down home” cooking and enjoy plenty of free parking. So, join your fellow Gold Coast Beemers for a scenic ride to the diner for dinner (in the South the noontime meal is dinner, the evening meal is supper).
